Great find! This is usually $48/bag. Ordered two for a grand total of $68. Wish they would have sales like this more often. Thanks!

I would like to try this out, but I'm scared off by the bad reviews and don't want to jeopardize the health of my dog. Anyone order it recently and have better luck?

What negative reviews? Blue buffalo is highly regarded as one of the top dog food brands

Edit: I see them now on amazon, for what it's worth I frequently buy the chicken version through amazon and haven't had any issues but the number of negative reviews here probably can't just be written off. The kibble is exactly the same as what I get from chewy or petsmart (usually buy it wherever it's on sale)

The top listed reviews on Amazon are not great. I have no experience with this food.

If you feed your dog Blue Buffalo that life protection is going to be fairly short. Its because of Blue Buffalo we discovered the link between Grain free and Cardiomyopathy

Yup I just edited my comment. Maybe bad luck or just good luck in my case?

About two years ago, my doggo developed a few lumps on her back. One was big enough to have removed. We switched her to Blue Buffalo small breed and the other lumps eventually went away.

YMMV but I'm all about this dog food.

Could you link a source? Until today I've literally only heard good things about blue buffalo. What does everyone else feed their dogs?

edit: this is in response to the risk associated with grain-free dog food...I'm not attacking Blue Buffalo or this food listed in OP.

This is just one of the first sources I found: https://www.akc.org/expert-advice...iet-alert/

There are more updated and even list of brands that seem to be most affecting dogs on fda site. Google grain-free dogfood warning. Lots of news and study details.

Swapping my Golden to Eukanuba....mad at myself for falling for a trend like grain-free. Always had great results with Eukanuba for all my past dogs. Not worth the risk of the trend, especially with the new data coming out. Just my 2 cents

Switch to BARF diet if money permits and if you truly care for your dog.

Note quite as healthy as the Wilderness (which gets a 4.5 on dogfoodadvisor), but at a 4/5, it still matches Kirkland brand.

I personally use dog food advisor to read about what foods we feed the pups. https://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/do...ction-dry/

In for one. Thanks OP!
