These are my favorite tasting (followed by beef), but I primarily only buy the venison because the calories to protein macros are so much better than any of the others (at least the four I come across in stores):

Venison = 120 calories : 15g protein
Chicken = 130 calories : 13g protein
Beef = 140 calories : 11g protein
Bison = 130 calories : 7g protein
These are perfect for people who don't want a candy bar for a protein bar, who don't want a bunch of soy and caramel and protein powders, but still want a good nutrition profile. It's minimally processed.

It also works for people who are on low carb, paleo, whole 30, and other WOE.

The company also funds and promotes regenerative agriculture, ag research, pasture raised animal ag.

This is about a health food as a health food can get other than whole food - which isn't as shelf stable for long hikes, camping trips, hunting trips, and travel.
Go to Trader Joe's, and try one first. Bought one tried it, and it was so gross to me. But everyone's different.

Anyone tried these? The reviews are concerning.

I bought this pack from Amazon in August, after buying them by the bar many times at Trader Joe's. I love 'em. Just ordered again.. thanks for this deal!

These are great! Chicken Sriracha are my favorite but these are close. Great for camping and hiking, good ingredients, and a company that supports regenerative agriculture and pastured animals.

Very strange. Most certainly not a health snack but maybes that's not the intention
How is this not a health snack? It's meat, fruit, and natural preservatives (celery powder).

There's no HFCS, soy, etc.

Awesome deal if you like the flavor. I think they're awful tasting. The venison and sriracha chicken flavors are amazing.

I guess it really depends on the person. I tried one of these exact bars last week and I thought it was horrible. Couldn't even finish it. Some reviewers seem to enjoy it.
