Just wanted to comment that my death adder (was expereince scrollwheel click issues a month in) now has main problem where a single left click will now register 2clicks / double click. And now officially retiring this mouse.

Gaming in mobas such as league are now a problem with my issues. Also browsing the web, annoying with it canceling highlighting.

I probably had about 3-5 months put into this mouse, but I bought it years ago, but after I had scrollwheel issues I put it back in box to serve as a backup mouse since I couldn't return it. Main moused died after years of use. So I brought this out until I find another mouse, but about 3 months later doubleclick issue.

Razor deathadder has double click issues. Very annoying and support is bad.

Got Logitech g305 with aaa battery mod and never going back to wired.

New new wireless with optical switch is coming out i guess. I have 3 DA, best shape, but elite has mushy, double clicks. Razer support now is much better than a few year ago.

I second the double click issues. I've had 3 different razer mice (all different models) and they all got the double click bs within 6 months of mmo gaming and web browsing. I'm currently using the razer naga trinity and it has the issue as well. Paid $100 for it over a year ago. Wish I hadn't. Support is non existent honestly. I'm almost done with the razer brand.

Avoid this until they fix their double click issues. Most recent one lasted A MONTH before it started. Absolute garbage. Won't buy from Razer again for mice.

My original deathadder lasted over a decade until I just threw it away for a change. I got this one like 6 weeks ago even though everyone says it sucks. Love it so far. Razor software doesn't bother be at all. Doesn't feel mushy. Scrolls just fine. I think everyone on slickdeals hits their significant other with their mouse or something. Or maybe I just get outdoors more often than everyone else.

I JUST plugged in my brand new Logitech G203. $21 new. Feels pretty damn decent. And the software is perfect. Set the quantity of DPI settings, each DPI value of each setting, default DPI setting, and a "quick-swap" DPI value that you can switch to with a button click. Assign anything to any button, including writing a whole macro. LED lighting options. Saved profiles. All in all, flippin awesome for $21 bucks.

Why mod it when you can just use rechargable AA battery, it's not that heavy.

Important to note this is not compatible with the new chroma software and will have to be used with the old synapse 2.
