No next generation from Intel for H series Processors.
Dell is claiming that its new 15.6" Latitude laptops at CES will have at least 30 hour battery life (this laptop claims 14 hours only) That's worth waiting for, H series processors or not.

I was seriously considering this model because yoga c940 with same cpu was too expensive and X1 extreme was not good enough. After deep research decided to wait. It's very hard to find good reviews about this laptop. Some reports thermal issues https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Yoga-S740-fan-noise/td-p/4555429 but it's kind of hard to keep h series 6 core processors cool.
So i7 10710U + gtx 1650 max q looks like a better idea but msi prestige 15 has a poor build quality.
I'm waiting since black Friday. New XPS 13 2020 sounds promising.

The review you have pointed out is a 14" version of that Laptop and does not even come with a H Series CPU. That has 15W i7-1065G7 10 nm ICe lake CPU and no dedicated GPU. Still that is thermal throttling with high fan noise means that has some either faulty hardware or faulty driver and BIOS. At least check which model they are referring.
This model is pretty solid it is actually the non 2-in-1 version of HP Pavilion - 15-cs3096nr touch with user replaceable memory. You can find the C940 review in Notebookcheck.net and they said that laptop is pretty good, in terms of performance and cooling. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Len...066.0.html
