This stuff is gross! It's not peanut butter. It's like a protein bar spread. Taste like date spread with peanut flavor on the side. It doesn't spread as smoothly as peanut butter. Peanut butter is pretty high protein already...

RX is a brand that is more focused on health foods and transparency. With so many sugary "health and protein bars", they created this to help people seeking truly better-for-you products. Eggs are weird, but I believe it adds real protein instead of additive protein. Smilie It's a decent brand I've liked.

Is it just me, but why does peanut butter need egg whites?

Bought it once. Never again. Oil and solid separated and no way of mixing them together into a creamy consistency.

Lol that someone downvoted your nice comment
Not the one that downvoted him, but while RX bar is transparent with ingredients, they aren't on where those ingredients are sourced or the quality of said ingredients.

I do tend to like RX bars, and they're MUCH better than most junk food or protein bars, but they're still far from the most healthy. The front of the package is their 'gimmick', as their products do contain more ingredients than what's shown on the front.

On top of that, they're still not transparent with "natural flavors", as most other products.

That's how all my natural peanut butter has been. Is there one that doesn't do that? Once I switched to the natural kind (not really for health reasons but just to try it) I found the taste of the regular stuff inferior. A friend bought me a peanut butter stirrer that you screw on top of a jar that really helps, also microwaving it till its warm helps too.
