Yes, no backlit and that's why I did not mention that in the spec.

While I realize not everyone looks for backlit KB, does it really cost that much? Seems to me anyone can use a machine with BL KB. But without the BL the possible audience is less.

With the exception of missing BL keyboard, combined with 20% from my Chase cashback i can get this for ~$600 including tax. Seems like a solid deal to me for a 10th gen i7. What am I missing before i pull the trigger...

Small capacity batter and not so good display. Fine for casual usage, watching movies, normal day to day work bur not for serious editing works.

Also not great video card. MX250 isn't much better than the integrated Iris, and that's not amazing either. It's fine for older / lower end games, and completely fine for a workday or casual use. But this is emphatically not a gaming machine.

This Laptop is not for gaming in the first place. The GPU is just their for GPU accelerated workloads like Photo and Video editing. nobody is looking into this for gaming and there are way better Gaming laptops available at this price. This is not a good idea to compare a Thin & Light Ultrabook with a Gaming machine.
