He isn't that wrong. Better video. More FPS, better tracking. Same batteries.

If you need video, the 90d makes sense
If you want the best photo quality and/or best low light performance, 6d mk ii.
If you don't know the difference between crop and full frame, stick to your iPhone for now.

99% of the people here don't have the right glass to be able to tell the difference between the two.
Canon refurbs are as good as new.
How are you going to unilaterally declare the 90D a better camera? They both have some strengths and weaknesses but a full frame sensor offers significant advantages over crop sensors, especially in low light situations.

Wow. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on the eos r from the other thread but this might be too good of a deal. The other thread mentioned the ability of 10% off on refurb products. A 6d mark 2 for under 800 from canon, sounds slick to me. Waiting for others to chime in. I think Canon had this listed for 1080 just yesterday.

It's a good price for full frame camera and canon refurb products are pretty decent

Unless you absolutely must have full frame, there are crop bodies better than this, albeit more expensive, e.g. 90D.

New one is $310 more, doesn't seem like much discount on a refurb.

Canon refurbished are almost like new! $300 saved could be spent on lenses. My 2 cents!
