YMMV: Shipping refunded on placed orders.
- Sign up for Red Tab (Free to join [levi.com])
- Navigate to Levi's website [levi.com], then click "Ask indigo" at the bottom left of the screen
- A chat window will open up. Click the three bar menu icon in the bottom left and click "Live Person Chat"
- Tell the customer service rep you're a Red Tab member and don't see free shipping at checkout.
- Customer service rep will say they can refund your shipping once you place an order.
- Place order, copy order number, give it to customer service rep and they will refund the shipping.

i am from Chicago
I reached out to customer service (using the Indigo button at the bottom right of the page) and asked why I'm missing the free shipping and benefits and they told me to place an order and give them the order number to refund me the free shipping. I did that and they took the shipping off!
For anyone that has already placed the order or if the shipping kills this, just ask the customer service chat to give you free Red Tab shipping.
My 527's came out to be $24.49 each, which is pretty decent deal for these jeans.
