Not really a deal on the cordless, Amazon New (with the fast charger) went down to $190 in November
Agree - I got a good deal at Amazon - open box - its good for my small driveway and part of my neighbors - I could use another battery or a similar open box deal in the spring.
Bought the sb18pro cordless during the black friday sale for 199. Depends on where u live, here in Massachusetts, it does not work that well. I was able to move about 2 inch of wet snow or and 4 inch of fluffy snow with it max, it will stuck with anything more than that. Was a nightmare when we had 8 inches of wet snow the other day. Returned it and bought a toro cordless instead, more expansive but much much better for wet snow.
I wouldn't buy one again. Not good with wet snow more than a couple inches. Battery life was also a little short than I was hoping for. I have maybe a 25' driveway and I can't clear the whole thing and sidewalk on one charge.
I have both an electric and 40volt battery powered and I love them both. You have to realize that you cant wait for all the snow to fall before you get out there, we just had about 8" of snow here in spokane and I went out there 3 times with the 40v one. I don't have a drive way but I was able to do the front part of the street where we park, my sidewalk and neighbors sidewalk and my path way to the front door. Then I used it in the back yard to make a few path for the dogs all in one battery.

Right? Lol. Snowed once so far in December.
Overall from using one in the past, it's pretty much something for older people or those who have a small walkway or patio that cant use a shovel.
