Thanks for the link. Luckily, i was able to stock up on them when they were @ the $12 price point at lowes. However, they have all gone back up to normal price at the lowes around me Frown. But I do have a couple in reserve now at least!

Thanks OP and other posters. I need the 17 inch blade for a mower I got from a deal posted here, but I'm not seeing them anywhere. I suppose the 16 is a bit safer than the 18, and for the price savings, I'm willing to do the extra pass or three it will require over the space of a yard.

I'm dubious about buying a new mower for $75:

You might check and see if you can find a similarly sized blade in the kobalt 40v family. I bought the Kobalt ones from lowes and they fit my greenworks just fine. Just take your blade in to lowes and put it next to the kobalt branded ones and ensure the sizes and holes etc.. line up.

Thanks for posting. That thread didn't set off my Greenworks alert.

Yeah these blades won't fit the self propelled 21 inch version. Good looking out though !

I'm having a hard time confirming whether the 21" would be compatible with this model [lowes.com] (the 60-volt) which is exclusive through Lowe's. Any input would be appreciated.

See my detailed posting on my 21" blade misadventures here (link is in the middle of my comment). The mower is awesome, but finding the right blade has been a hassle.

From what i can tell in the manual for your mower [lowes.com], you need the same blade as my 40v .

Per the manual
Quote :
Use only a GREENWORKS replacement blade (Item#: 333041179).
If that is the case, my posting here will help you find the blade. We are in the same boat as our blade hardly ever goes on sale.

TLDR; you most likely need this blade -
amazon link [amazon.com]
lowes link

EDIT: Note the amazon link has the correct picture of the chevron pattern holes. The lowes link shows the half moon, but it is the chevron pattern. Incredibly confusing, but not sure whom to blame Smilie

Can confirm these do not fit the 80v Greenworks and Kobalt. That part number is 2903402

No, none of these listed above will fit. You need the blade with the ^ "chevron" style locating holes/pins. The Kobalt 20" blade is identical to the GW OEM (I suspect it is made by GW) Take your old blade to Lowes to match up. This blade fits both the 60V and 80V 21" GW mowers, push or self-propelled. The GW 21" model actually uses a 20" blade (ask me how I know).

Thanks so much I had the same question. One of the really annoying things about Greenworks is for all their talk about interchangeability many of their models and parts seem to not be compatible with eachother.... why is it so hard to find out whether a generic greenworks "21 inch blade" works with specific models or not.
