Some of Boston's top museums (and zoos!) are offering FREE admission to all on MLK Day 2020. Details are as follows...

• MLK Day @ the Gardner Museum:

Carry on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Enjoy special performances by artists committed to social justice and service, including Artist-in-Residence storyteller Gcina Mhlophe, and Porsha Olayiwola—Boston Poet Laureate and the Gardner Museum's own Neighborhood Salon Luminary.

11am – 4pm

• MLK Day @ the ICA:

Celebrate the legacy of MLK with the public opening of two new exhibitions: Tschabalala Self: Out of Body + Carolina Caycedo.

10am – 5pm

• MLK Day @ the MFA:

Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by surrounding yourself with art, culture, and community. Citizens Bank has sponsored the MFA's MLK Day community celebration for 18 consecutive years—allowing the Museum to welcome more than 120,000 visitors into our galleries to enjoy free performances, tours, talks, art-making activities, and more.

10am – 5pm

• MLK Day @ Franklin Park & Stone Zoo:

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo will offer free admission on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020. Guests are invited to write messages of hope and peace on murals located within the Tropical Forest Pavilion at Franklin Park Zoo, and within the Animal Discovery Center at Stone Zoo.
