Digital did not kill Kodak..it was market competition that passed them. Kodak was the first company to release a digital camera, others followed. They have licensed their camera technology to Kodak Pixpro and they are producing some excellent cameras the past 7 years. Interesting in that Kodak film continues to grow as people realize that film can and does produce a very appealing look. Something for everyone.

Yeah but what if someone wants professional photos taken (headshot for eg.). Just buy this vs pay the studio?
Even with that being said, this is not high-end gear. If someone has a need for professional photos, go to a pro in this case.
