Personally, I'd change that to say life is too short for non-good to you games (or life is too short for "just okay" games). AAA are often (but not always) great, especially if you have the time to really sit and play them, but being AAA doesn't inherently make a game good. Some of the best games I've played, especially these last few years since having kids (which has dramatically reduce my opportunity to sit down and play games in long sessions), have been indies (Celeste, Edith Finch, Dead Cells, Axiom Verge, Hollow Knight, etc.). With that said, certainly not all indies are great either. We're fortunate to live in a time where more games are coming out than ever before, so many that no one has time to play everything. So there's now really not much point to playing a game you just kinda like (regardless of its publisher, budget, etc.)

Yeah, what's with the AAA snobbiness?

Don't forget Portal started out as an indie demo.

Man, I just keep buying more and more of these games that I might not ever play.

As a father of 2, I've come to the realization that life is too short for non AAA games.

Just got 911 Operator. I have checked the reviews and over almost 7 thousand reviews got 9 out of 10.

Yeah, they are fun and silly games. My son enjoys them. Have the first one on Xbox One already.

You might need to refresh. I sometimes will get the regular price, but after a refresh it shows the sale price.

I'll probably spring for GOATY. One of my kids is ape for it. I think I'd read that the Switch version is scaled back from what's available on other platforms tho.
