This tv was $279.99 just 20 days ago at bestbuy. A simple search on SD shows it's was also on sale for $10 cheaper a month ago at bestbuy.

Are we not supposed to post a deal unless it is less or equal compared to the previous ones? New policy in 2020?

SD policy since Day 1, every deal gets compared to every previous deal, you must be new here.

58 inch Hisense is 298 at Walmart and I believe you have 30 day return policy versus Best Buy 14 day policy. I have notice westinghouse to below average grade in quality and how long it lasts compared to the other bargin brands.

TVs purchased in a Walmart store must be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase. You must have your receipt and original packaging to process the return. According to a Walmart customer service representative, Walmart does not charge a restocking fee for returned TVs and you dont have to give up your first born child either.

It is not about comparison, which I expect to happen all the time. It is how you approach it. OP is not some newbie. The tone of the first reply implied as though it was not worth posting just because it is now $10 higher.

Also, not going by number of posts / rep points, I've been here since 2012 and long before that in FW (for those who know what it is). So, not new necessarily. Smilie

I know, it was a joke, I was on FW back in the day too, more so than SD before SD made major improvements and FW made major mistakes. I've been around a LOT longer than my date stamp suggests.

You can post anything you think it's a deal, and I appreciate that. Older deals are a reference point. We look forward, but it's good that we know what's in the past.

Sorry for coming across badly, I was just posting the previous price for reference. These Best Buy deal of the days get posted regardless of whether it's a deal or a marketing ploy. Most of the time 1 minute after release which is 1am on the bestbuy sight, by the same posters. I think that is great but sometimes there is no back search to see if it can had for cheaper, such as google shopping best buy with a promo code, or if it is trending downward.

No harm meant. But this isn't a deal go grab it now on this tv lol it's just on sale.

Agreed. Most sale prices are discounts off of heavily inflated retail price. And yes, BB does repeat some sales quite regularly. There was also a 50" Insignia with a free Echo Dot around $260. It's been that price since March 2019.
