Agreed.. Google just isn't listening. First pixel I passed on since launch of pixel. Added stupid gestures and shrunk battery.
The battery is laughable on the P4. P4XL or don't bother.
You're so wrong. Stock android is killer but things like their camera (a mix of hardware and software) is recognized as one of the best on the market. Other features are fairly goodas well. Not trying to tout it as the best android phone on the market, but it's a serious competitor.
However as a pixel 2xl owner still I haven't found enough reason yet to upgrade to the 4.

This seems better if you want XL and can use the BB credit of $200

64GB and smaller battery were seriously criticized by many android users, and no 4k support on front camera and no wide angle camera on back by content producers.

How to get the BestBuy credit of USD200?

By buying the phone. It's a "free item with purchase"

Battery is a big problem, all other Android flagships came with decently big battery. Pure stock Android is no longer Google exclusive. Their only strengths are camera and dialer software, which you can get semi stable versions with the apks.

Google should quit making hardwares altogether. Just focus on your software and license them out.

My Pixel 2XL is still working fine so I don't think Pixel 4 is worth the upgrade at this price. However, the Pixel 4a looks tempting from early renders.

I disagree that they should stop coordinating hardware, but I would like the good old days back where they made very affordable (but still good) phones. Waiting for the 4a to hopefully bump 3a pricing down to $200-250
