Soap is hydrophobic and hydrophilic. It traps bacteria inside and safely washes it down the drain. Antibacterial products like triclosan are chemicals that bacteria can evolve to build resistance to. I'd only use antibacterial products for surfaces your can't rinse well and come in contact with life threatening bacteria. For your hands regular soap is just fine.
