Agreed, but to be fair, many brands are easily picked. Especially at a low price point.

I'm just trying to get a lock to keep B-Shift away away from my pea protein. You can leave a $1,000 bucks on the table at the fire station and no one will ever take it. But leave a slice of pie out...

Pretty much all security is about making your neighbors house an easier target. There's no perfect lock but if it will slow down the thief, they will go to an easier target.

This is absurd. Most thieves are opportunists who look for an easy grab. Any lock is better than no lock.

Please search youtube before buying anything made by Master Lock. They are so easy to defeat that calling them "junk" would be putting it nicely.
A great youtube channel explaining locks is "lockpickinglawyer", but there are many others that show you just how Master Lock makes embarrassingly crappy locks that actually attract thieves to break in and steal your property.

LPL is great, but he opened my 100$ kryptonite New York bike lock in under 1 min. So I guess it would be hard (impossible?) to find the lock that is hard for him to pick.
That said, masterlock is surely crap. I've bought one for a locker and it failed after about 10 uses. Even the cheapest lock from Harbor Freight holds better.

I kicked one open before with my boot. It was my own lock. Just had to kick down on it the right way

Agree, cheaper and safer to just not put any lock on it than to advertise you want people to stay out with the Masterlock.

Needed a lock. Seems good for light deferral.
