The button on these are horrible. Itll fall out with regular use after a few weeks. Pelican will charge you $5 to have it repaired and require you to pay shipping to their repair center.

I have two and I agree they are good lights. They improve the model with each generation. But they are not without some problems. The click switch is a matter of preference. I find one too stiff and hard to control, but never had it fall apart.

One of the included batteries leaked and permanently damaged the body and threads. Pelican's warranty process was poor, charging me $5 to submit a warranty claim along with pics of the damaged flashlight. I would have to pay trackable shipping on top of it, so I did not return it. Later, the charge dropped off my account so I mailed it with a $5 check in a plain envelope. They did send me a brand new one. I felt the original should not fail, yet it cost me the purchase price + $5 extra for my trouble.
