It is very possible that the C9 will be supported for longer with software/firmware updates because of the processor though.
To be clear this is what I've come away with after reading lots of things on the internet so take this post with a grain of salt.
It's up to you of course but I am really happy with the B9. I have heard/read that the B9 actually has "better" near blacks than the C9... No idea how/why.... But the C9 has more shadow detail. I think the CNET guy was talking about it.
Anyway, OLED was so worth the money. It's an amazing tv. I love watching things on it and am amazed everytime I turn it on. Dolby Vision content is especially incredible (thanks Disney plus).
Should be noted Vizio has OLED coming this year. Also, LG may still be doing the "free 1 year of Disney+ with OLED purchase."

I've been shopping for a C9 too, but doing a little research, it seems like the main difference between the two models is better factory calibration on the C9 and better peak brightness. Not sure those are worth the price premium.
That's assuming I can manage to calibrate the B9 myself, which is a big assumption.
