This dates back to 2014/2015 design, while this is ok on regular headphones, the BT on this is only an SBC codec. The battery life is also really short compared to anything now.

In spite of Bluetooth 3.0 and no apt-x, the sound on these is terrific. I just purchased the sony wh1000xm3 after holiday sale and- I kid you not - to my ears these are very close. Of course, no NC but they also connect very easy to phones or other devices due to Near Field Comm.
