I have had two of them for about 6 years, which I payed a lot more for. Bought one more on a similar deal ($100-120) last month and didn't unbox it yet. Just unboxed it now. Someone mentioned that they are still making these (or at least, were as of last year.) Sure enough, the one I got was manufactured in June 2019. I bought it for a new setup in a different office and was looking at today's deal to make it into a pair (these are great for using as a pair of side-by-sides. There are also custom mounts including one from Dell that are designed to mount these side-by-side on a single stand).

These are a very popular model for certain types of professional work. The 16:10 format is very nice. Lack of HDMI is no big issue as it's easy to get a HDMI-DVI cable or converter for a few bucks. Most "professional" and also many gamer graphics cards already have DisplayPort. DisplayPort has been around a long time for professional graphics, whereas HDMI was basically a lower-end consumer standard for TVs and Blu-Ray players. (though HDMI standards have now been updated to support 4K and other advanced features.)

By today's standards you may either want a larger display, and/or higher-res like 4K. But it's a very solid and rugged monitor and that extra resolution (x1200 instead of x1080) really does make it more powerful for editing, coding, etc, and at this price it continues to be a great bargain.
But it does have Displayport, DVI, and VGA as well as a 2 port usb hub.
This monitor doesn't have HDMI port.

It's a fair price for these. Heads up that it's a really old model. I have 2 of these since 2012 and they are holding up fine, and still look good. Will do you just fine for office work, I particularly like the matte finish that does a decent, if not amazing, job of mitigating glare and reflections. Even works as a casual gaming monitor -- although with 8ms GTG response time and only 60Hz refresh, strictly a gaming monitor it is not.

I use it for Office. high-resolution means it takes more editing windows than x1080, very useful for Office work.
yes, it's pretty old model. nothing fashion. even its stand looks odd. IMO, Dell 1905/7 stand looks better than it

Thanks OP. I've been waiting for this to go on sale again. For those who have Discover, you can buy $30 GC for $25 in points.

I'm still rocking the 23" version of these at 1080p and they are great! Great vivid colors with the IPS panel.

Always nice to see 1920x1200 over the typical 1920x1080

Is this monitor flicker free now? Old version definitely not. Thanks
