Nice card but I wouldn't consider $20 off a deal
An "insane" deal for a 5700 XT would be <$300. In any case, the 5700 series cards perform great but have major stability and driver issues. It usually requires jumping through hoops to get it stable (see for example: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Si...=10269023).

If you somehow win the dice roll and get great hardware, you still have to deal with driver issues. I tried to upgrade to a 5700 XT recently (from an RX 480) but it was a nightmare so the card went back and I stuck with the 480. I did some research before I bought it and a lot of research when it had problems and since then. I'm not convinced AMD GPUs are worth it right now. Yes, you get more performance per dollar (at this level) than with Nvidia but that's only if it happens to work. Every type of card and manufacturer will have problems but recent AMD card have major driver issues. Read the reviews; recent ones still mention problems. Every once in a while you get people without issues but almost everyone who has commented online has driver issues (could be a biased sample but in this case I think it reflects reality). 5700 series cards have been out for months now and still have the issues. They might be worth another look in 6 months but AMD hasn't fixed the driver mess yet.

Bought the XFX 5700 and flashing to XT as suggested by some peeps. I was looking at a 2060, but after some comparisons... I saw otherwise.

It may be only $20 off the Newegg price but it is at least $40 off where it has been selling just a week or so ago. I suspect the 5700 prices (both XT and non-XT models) will go lower with NVidia lowering their prices on the RTX 2060 models.

Heck of a deal... especially with Gigabyte's outstanding 3 year warranty.

The 2060 are going down due to the 5600XT. The 5700 and 5700xt will go down when the newer Nvidia cards drop not when they suddenly drop prices on their ancient cards.

Crazy how they still haven't fixed the drivers yet on these cards, I bought a 5700 card a couple months ago and had to return it as well due to driver issues.

thermals, performance, everything. The only better 5700 is the nitro+ and red devil but youre gonna be paying a bit more for both of those which isnt worth the jump in price to most people
