Mulling over the Honda model for $20 more than OP.
Wondering what kind of warranty this comes with and how much hassle dealing with a defective unit will be.
edit: pulled the trigger on a honda. if it's not in great shape it's going back.
edit 2 2/3/2020: unit arrived defective. called the hotline and spoke to a service person who said the problem can't be repaired by me and I have to either take it in or send it back. back it goes.

I don't think they make sure they work, as this one required servicing right out the box.
The customer service tried to sell me on an exchange. I told them that I'd like one in better condition.
They replied, somewhat condescendingly, that they cannot guarantee one would come in "better condition". They quoted the part of my request that was apparently out of the question.
I reminded them that "better condition" meant "working".

Did this ever get resolved???
How used was it? IE store return used a couple times or something that had been used many times?
I'm thinking of buying the pressure washer from woot posted today but this is very comparable and quite a bit cheaper

I'm not a good judge of usedness, HOWEVER, it had scuffs and abrasions and a well worn pull cord. I'm assuming someone bought it to do *everything* under the sun they could think of and ran it into the ground.
When I was walked through the diagnosis by the expert they said "yeah, you're going to have to return it".
I'm still shopping for a pressure washer to this day.

Not sure if this is the Yamaha, Subaru, or Honda motor version.
