Not intending to be a jerk but just to curb this before it gets out of hand, any anecdotal evidence about how good/bad it's been so far this year has zero bearing on what might or might not be the weather for the rest of 2020 and beyond. If you might need this it's an okay deal.

Live in Kansas City and bought a 21" version (15 amp) of this 4 years ago. I've only used it maybe five or six times, but I've been surprised at its performance for the price I paid. It's tackled snow up to 10 inches deep. The biggest challenge is not making your paths too wide. After getting through your initial pass, and depending on how deep the snow is, you may have to do paths that are 6 to 12 inch wide, otherwise it can completely bog down. Not such a big deal though if you're only using it a few times a year. If it was my money, I would buy it again instead of a gas powered version.
Amazon reviews on the 15-amp model are generally very good, with a few mentioning some initial QC issues (which hopefully are eliminated with these being refurbished).
We have 6" of snow coming this Saturday apparently, but I don't think I can get one in time. Very tempting though. Hmm.
