I clicked on "Time Machine" and switched format to Audible. The book picture changes to headphones for sale, haha.

The description of the Time Machine states that this is abridged for younger readers. Also, a common theme in reviews is "bad translation" or "poor English". I'm staying away, even if it is free. You can download the original book for free these days. It's public domain, which is why it seems like publishers rewrite these books and try to sell them. If you are new to these classics, I recommend getting your hands on the unaltered and unabridged versions.

Lol. When you have no recollection of buying this last time, but Amazon reminds you ... You are a slick booker.

Good call on the abridged for children's edition mentioned above! I may delete this from my Kindle library so that I don't accidentally read the boring abridged version. I'd rather download it off Gutenberg and get the OG version.
