Yup, another big tip off to everyone should be the fact that it's BUG REMOVER because you know, there are just loads of bugs in the freezing of Winter...

Did you read the reviews and see the pics of the sludge from the silicone? Normally I would agree, but there are additional additives in this that are clearly harmful to the washer system.
And I can tell you first hand I've used this in my last 5 vehicles and never had any "sludge". Calcium build up in pumps/lines is from tap water, that is a fact. Whatever happened with the ONE picture review showing damage to a pump, you can tell that is clearly not from this. It looks like algae is growing in his pump. Most of the bad reviews you can tell these people don't know what they are talking about. "Smearing" is not caused by windshield fluid, its caused by dried out/bad wipers.

What do you mean? Some places don't have much/any freezing weather in the winter, and some of those places do still have plenty of bugs, so this is a viable option for them. That's not the case in my area, but some people around here use this stuff in the summer.

Bah, facts are just a slight inconvenience for some people. Don't bother trying to convince them, because you won't.

How much do you think it costs Amazon to ship a gallon of liquid? Less than $2.47? Genuinely curious.

more than its worth. but you can't drive to a store for less, not counting value of your time. enjoy the Amazon subsidies while they last.

I'd use this with a sponge to get off caked on bugs manually in the spring. Definitely don't wanna put this in my lines
