A lot of reviews stating the additive will clog lines and burn out pumps. Not worth the risk IMO.

Don't use this during winter time. It will freeze it.

I prefer Prestone de-icer windshield washer fluid to this one.

Not sure about this but in general Rain-X in a way is like ArmorAll. Once you start using it you are kind of stuck with it. The stuff is impossible to remove and once an application begins to age it must be replenished or things go South quickly.
I am sure there are some users here will disagree as that's SOP here. However the only R-X users know that really liked it were long haul truckers as it keeps the bugs building up at night.
Why would one be "stuck" with Rain-X after using it? I don't understand that, and you admit that you're not sure. I have no idea why you think Armor All is like that, either. Please explain.

You can dismiss the opinions of others all you like, but that doesn't automatically mean we're wrong. I've used Rain-X in various forms for 20+ years, and I've never had a problem. Never seen any need to remove it. I don't use this summer formula because the temperature can drop below freezing here 6-7 months out of the year, the orange flavor works great year round, and I'm too lazy to think about switching.

Yes, this is clearly marked as only being suitable for temperatures above freezing, as it is not a de-icer. I don't use it for that reason, though I do trust the orange Rain-X year round. I do wonder however whether this green juice removes bugs better than the orange.

I've used this with all of my vehicles and never had an issue (current one is about 8 years old now). The only thing that typically clogs lines is when people use tap water, which is common when service stations offer "fluid checks" when you get your oil changed.

It's usually around this price at Walmart, $15.49 as the normal price is pretty crazy inflated. Unless I'm reading something wrong and it's some 6 pack or something

Did you read the reviews and see the pics of the sludge from the silicone? Normally I would agree, but there are additional additives in this that are clearly harmful to the washer system.
