I switch between big AAA games and indies. I usually do one or two smaller indies between each AAA game. The older I get, the more I appreciate a smaller game I can finish on the weekend. I don't get to play as much during the week, so that's valuable. Not everyone only plays AAA games.
Honestly, at a certain point, and maybe you'll understand this when you're an adult, you just accept a backlog and play the games you want to play. If you get around to the rest, then that's great, and if not, oh well.
I just played Donut County... Sooooo good. Love the music, the gameplay is good, and story is fun / doesn't get boring.
Why is a game that is not AAA instantly considered trash? Sound logic there, boss.

From reviews, I believe Broken Age sounds like the only must have game. The others look like they are very aesthetically pleasing but not the best in terms of gameplay.
+1 for Donut County. Great game. I'd just grab it on mobile if you have an iOS device (no Android version, as far as I know), but if you don't, it's a great game on the Swtich too. Super short though. Maybe like 3 hours. But it's a fun game with a funny story.
Octodad is probably more fun to watch than play.
Stranger Things 3 is meh.
Broken Age looks great, has a funny story, and good voice acting, but I don't like old school point-and-click games, so I wouldn't personally recommend it. I got lost pretty quickly when I tried to play it. But my understand is that people that like that genre really like that game.
From reviews, I have read it is probably worth it at that price. Especially if you are fan of Stranger Things.
Got it at launch, super disappointing for $20, but I'd probably pay $5. The first game, which is free on iOS is much better. Season 3 is very Zombie Ate My Neighbor in style, but it is just endless fetch-quests in substance. I 100 percented the first game, but I put this one down after a few hours and never looked back.

No not really. I found the first game to be pretty fun but this one just plain boring and repetitive
