FYI these used to be better build - the wheels were more rounded (better rolling) and the weight used to be more balanced (so it tipped much less often when being moved upright on all 4 wheels)

I'm needing 3-4 carry on bags for an upcoming trip to replace some old Samsonite stuff.

I bought a few American Tourister bags, but both were 28". I read reviews on this and then hit up Amazon to try out a hardside spinner. There are some Amazon brands and a few others in the $45-50 range.

I'm starting with one, but may check this bag out again if the hardside bag doesn't meet my needs. You loose those outer storage pockets with that style.

really? i never saw 28-29" bags less than 9lbs, this one clearly mentioned 10.5 lbs for 28", even samsonite or other brands always around 10 lbs, i would to like know any model with 5-6 lbs im ready to pay even $100
