Actually the Tomb Raide reboot games might be a better overall comparison.
I like it, at $30 I'd feel like I'd have gotten a deal on it. Unlike most EA games there's no DLC (yet), and no expansion pass shenanigans so you get a complete game from start to finish that doesn't hold it's hand out for more money at any point. It's a rare and glorious thing.

Exactly!!
Single player campaign from a popular franchise without micro transactions, is usually invaluable, fun, and challenging (in a positive way) and again this game is a perfect example...
I am so fricken tired of people bashing this game like hard as feces because it "EA" or like they expect the price to drop fast as $10 in a matter of days cuz price keep dropping as there are too many of them out there for sale, no multiplayers, no female Jedi, no rainbow lightsaber, wannabe-darth Vader is female, game too hard, game too short and such. Like they're all crybabies!!
I repeat, this game is not broken. It is fun as playing Star Wars Shadow of the Empire for PC/N64 (I know, not the best Star Wars game comparison,) value wise and experience wise, single player campaign is very well done). No fricken chance this game will be available on EA Access. It is still selling wells!
Rant over.....now I'm calm and can help for those on the fence on this deal.
Bottom line: Do get this game if OK with the following criteria:
Fan of Star Wars
Values good single player campaign
Had no backlog; want and can play game now
Has Xbox One X*
* S is playable but X will render the best performance.

I think sales on this game have tapered off. Still waiting it out till it is in the $10 range personally.
This game is a blast!
