I have a 144hz monitor right now. Would I see much of a difference in going to 240? I have an i5 9600K OC and a 2070 so I can probably push the frames.

I feel like 240hz for the jump from 144hz isn't really necessary you're better off getting other upgrades

I'm sure you will see some improvement going from 144 to 240 refresh rate. But how much? Is spending $384 worth it to you? Stop focusing on just the fresh rate alone. There are so many other factors that go into a gaming monitor such as resolution and input lag. For $300 you could have had a Dell 27" G-sync monitor with good resolution. Perfect for your Nvidia 2070 card. The deal just expired a few days ago but it seems to come around every few months. Create a new alert for it.
