Anyone know how the i9 and i7 perform under load in the Mac?

I remember seeing how such small enclosure actually throttles high performance processors under load and that money is just being wasted with top of the line choice.

The fans will definitely spin up, but very little thermal throttling even on the 8core i9 that I have and from what online benchmarks using real apps have shown.
