These were garbage the first and only time I tried them.

Not to mention pretty poor 'build quality' compared to others (eg very thin foil top)

24 dollars if you buy Jacob brand in Germany in aluminum capsules. This is top of the line coffee. They rip us off in USA for coffee.

European coffee in general is so much better and cheaper to boot.

Yup. I always ask my husband to buy at least 100 pods from France every 3 months. You can taste the difference. Usually you can get some from Lidl for $0.20/pod.

Not much margins I guess? Cheapest is $0.20/pod at Lidl.

Yeap...thats where I go. I got about 100 right now...stock up later when my son comes back from Germany.

Now a trick you can do is refil the aluminum capsules which can be reused. Just make sure you put them in the same position each time. You can get special foil tops. You just have to get the right grind.

Ebay has cheap ones but they are plastic pods
