White flour, sugar, and saturated fat is "sports nutrition." LOL ! Guess Oreos and Chips Ahoy are sports nutrition as well now.

First 5 ingredients: Organic wheat flour, organic palm fruit oil, organic rice syrup, organic cane sugar, organic whole wheat flour.

These cookies taste good though.

Depending on how intense your workouts are any fast acting carbohydrate could be beneficial. Ingredients aren't terrible on this for some quick pick me up energy but this is definitely no meal replacement option.

Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

Not necessarily. When out on the trail with a heavy pack; junky, high calorie, high carb foods can be extremely important. These, gummy bears, some granola bars, etc. Food for performance (short term)vs food for nutrition (daily life).

My concern with these is the expiration date or best by date. I need them to be good through hunting season and the local ones are good through September. That and I only eat a few year.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. Are they trying to market stroopwafels to an American audience as a health food?
