This is a new 8" Lenovo Tab with FHD (1920x1200) resolution, Android Pie (9.0), 3 GB Ram and 32 GB Memory (MMC). I could not find any reviews on it but the HD model is here: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Len...424.0.html

I am sure it is not a power house but it checks all the boxes that I have been looking for on a replacement Android tablet for a long time. Retail price appears to be 160. Lenovo has 144 for the price currently. With this coupon code that I found, 120$ TABM82020.

I just purchased and received two of these for my kids last week. They have some old Fire tablets that were unbearably slow so decided to upgrade hoping to take advantage of post-Christmas sales. First I tried to keep it cheap and went with a Dragon Touch Y88X Pro. It had a terrible camera and I didn't like the premise behind Kidoz for the kids environment. Returned that and picked up a Samsung Tab A 8". Once I realized that the Sd card could not be used as internal storage (file and camera storage only) and SD not accessible by a child profile, I took that back. I picked up a Lenovo M10 but didn't even open it as I found the 8" FHD with better specs and went for it.

Overall this is a great kids or light-duty adult user tablet. The screen is sharp and bright. There is barely any bloatware which provides a nice clean Android environment. The Google family settings apply well and give the ability to manage the kids profiles easy. I was able to stick a 128GB micro sd in and format it for internal storage no problem.

I will say that the Lenovo kids environment called "Monster Class" isn't that great. There is no way to import Google Play installed games into the Monster Class launcher. Also you'll need to make sure that in your Google Family Link app that you allow child users to create new users during the initial setup of Monster Class otherwise you get stuck at the pin creation screen. Also worth noting is that there's a fairly limited number of games and whatnot in the Monster Class environment, at least compared to the raw play store of course.

I ended up just clearing most of the default "desktop" apps off the screen and put all the kids apps there. My 6yo prefers the Android environment which I have locked down in Family Link over the Monster Class environment. My 3yo bounces back and forth but is seeming more and more inclined to stay in the Android environment as well.

Just wanted to give my honest review. We bought some cheap cases off Amazon, which is another downfall for now, limited selection. Overall these are great tablets.
I have fire HD 8 and 10, and both are junk. Too laggy doing very basic tasks. Specs for lenovo looks promising!
It uses the full version of Android 9.0

Isn't that a different model? That is M8 HD not a M8 FHD. The specs that video listed are also not the same as the Lenovo site shows.

Video is not for the same tablet... Video outlines screen with lower res, only 2gb of ram and quad-core CPU.

Per Lenovo website ops tablet has better screen, 3gb ram and otcocore CPU.

Prob better then fire hd if you don't need the bigger screen imo

Looks promising. Not a lot of good (cheap) options for 8" tablet other than expensive ones like ipad mini. Hopefully cpu is not too slow. Ordered!

I have quite a few tablets including the HD10. The HD10 is a great tablet for the price if you are looking for a 10" tablet. The Lenovo FHD 8" is the one referenced here. It appears to be a new model and upgraded specs from the HD (this one has the FHD display, 32 G memory (a big deal) and 3 G ram (also nice). For me, the 8" size is the sweet spot. I like my Amazon tablets but the 8" display is washed out (7th gen model) and I get tired "fighting" with the Amazon UI (I choose to put a different launcher on both my Fire tabs but Amazon finds ways to break them). Nothing beats the Android experience (yes I have an IPP too and that is my primary device...)

The processor in this thing has me really curious. Based on how MediaTek names their processors, I expected this to just be a overclocked version of the Helio 22P (non T version). Which the chip IS overclocked to 2.3ghz compared to 2.0ghz. But that chip doesn't support full HD displays like this tablet has so I am wondering what else has changed with the T version.

This looks like a new version of the Lenovo P8 (Tab3 8 Plus). Same 1920x1200 screen, but Android 9.0 vs 6.0, and 32GB internal vs 16GB. $120 is a good price. Bought my P8 for $130 in 2018 through Gear Best. Still use it everyday.
