daisybeetle posted this code for regular wood panels (thanks), but didn't include the premium wood panels in her post. I bought a few of these on Saturday and they came out OK, much nicer than the regular wood panel prints from Walgreens.
They just print a regular 8x10 glossy photo and tack it (with plastic shiny silver color pegs) to a bamboo board with a clear plastic cover over the photo. Like all other Walgreens glossy prints, the paper can stick to the plastic cover which can look ugly.
A couple things...
1. the store i ordered these from did not have these in stock as they are brand new, so they store called me and told me they were going to cancel the order. i called the walgreens 800 number and they found 1 store (out of maybe 10) in the area that actually carried these bamboo boards. they moved the order to the other store for me.
2. when i went to pick these up, the actual pictures had fingerprints, scratches, and other debris on them. i pointed it out to the guy and he reprinted and got new boards for me. i worked with the guy to remount the pictures to the new boards. they are a pain to mount (hard to get them centered, as the picture sticks to the plastic) so i can see why the photos were all messed up by the time they finally got them in place on the board. just make sure to look out for dirty / scratched / fingerprinted pictures.
Got the regular wood panels on Saturday with the same code. The bottom was noticeably crinkled up and so for novelty alone, the quality was about worth $10, but I would have been upset if i paid the regular price of $39.99.
