Can this be good laptop for high school programming like java python and upto 5 6 good programming softwares?
The configuration is absolutely excellent at this price. Good enough storage with the Optane, capacious although slow. Good processor if a little older. DVD is kind of irrelevant nowadays. The screen resolution is rotten, but it's <$200 for Pete's sake, so can't complain. 4 GB is definitely too low but I'm sure it can be expanded cheaply. (Maybe check before buying.)
It's YMMV but it doesn't really have better competition at this price. A few bucks more and the cheaper Motile comes into range, with a better screen too. $300 gets the upper Motile, but that's almost 70% higher price.
Those are lighter and quicker, especially the Ryzen 5 + SSD + more memory. They're also more expensive.
EDIT: Answering your second question more closely - YMMV. For me, coding needs a good screen. I'm writing Python on a 1366 x 768 screen and I hate it. Processing power doesn't matter much at the high school level for Python etc. Faster storage and at least 8 GB would be preferable. But again - if your high school kid has a choice between their own laptop or nothing, this is a good deal.
