I've been waiting to get a tab and searched reviews on Amazon... not so good reviews. Almost pulled the trigger.

Fwiw, the Geekbench 4 shows the average scores of 916 and 3930 for the processor. Those were taken from international versions that have either 2gb or 4gb RAM.

https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/...705F%C2%A0

It should replace my old Shield K1, Depending on if it has widevine L1.

There's reviews of the M8 FHD (TB-8705F)? Or the 1st version, M8 Hd (TB-8505F), with alexa? This one is version 2 with Google Assistant from what I understand and different specs.

Yup you're right. I was looking at an older version. I stand corrected. Thanks for catching that.

Thanks OP. Any of you have this tablet and can comment on it's performance? Obviously not expecting high performance for this price, I just don't want something laggy.

I can't find any reviews on it.

This absolutely rapes the 2013 Nexus 7, of course.

How hard is it to browse the internet on this tablet--and respond on forums like SD?

Before I go to sleep, I take my heavy laptop to bed with me for a few minutes to browse Slick Deals or other websites where I might have to make a post or respond to a comment.

Would be much easier to do it on a tablet?
