Good deal, but good luck finding any. They have been discounted for weeks and BS shows them in stock all around me. However, every store I've checked can't find them. Their computers also say they are there but they aren't.

Given the price and the size (plus fire is cool, right), I think this is a super easy item for young guys with bad jobs (Lowe's employees) to steal.

Anyone know how long the gas lasts, or how to refill? Not sure if this should be treated as a throwaway or not.

Might help me decide if a pack of lighters would be more useful to help singe nylon rope, heat shrink, etc.

finding these at the actual store has been like finding a Walmart item instock. Brickseek says they're there but none to be found. Even with the help of customer service on the floor.

I had a hard time finding the too, but they did turn up. Check by the registers. I have found them there in two separate stores. Small display box that was kind of set up high near a couple of the registers.

They were not where they were supposed to be. Can be with the soldering torches OR can be in the plumbing department near plumbing torches. All else fails, ask the guy at the pro desk.

Yeah, I just went on that wild goose chase a couple days ago. My local lowes close by says 8 in stock, couldn't find. Went to front CS and they looked up and noted there should be 10 on hand. Wandered to every location where they may have been and checked all the clearance endcaps....nothing!

BS says there's lots left here, if so I'll pick another one up. I keep this and some solder splices in my Jeep so I can reliably fix a damaged wire on the trail.

I got 2 of these recently. I looked by the registers, and throughout the tool section with no luck. I showed an employee a screenshot with the part number. He had never seen it, but the system showed they were in the grilling section. Sure enough I found a little styrofoam holder with about 5 in it on a random table over close to the grills. Make sure you check over there if you go looking!
