Incorrect.

It is widely known that you can still get the free upgrades simply using any Windows 7 key. I have also done and have had friends do the upgrades as late as last week.
I've done that with 4 different PC's in the last year, zero issues.

I did 9 computers last week using valid old win 7 ultimate disks. It's still alive.

When it went into the boot sequence it kept indicating "no operating system found" and it would never boot up after several attempts, I tried several different settings in the bios but it kept coming back to " no operating system.... check hdd cable" something like that.
I googled all this and it said to check the cable that goes to the hard drive, hard drive was fine before upgrade to Win 10.
What did I do wrong?
Can I get system back?
Strange that I never found that model on the Lenovo website so I can't see how many DIMM slots total and how many filled to get 8GB. It could be the product is filled with 2GB DIMM making it expensive to upgrade RAM. And IS the RAM expensive like ECC.
Looking to keep it Win 7 only. Anyone use/purchase this model?

My pleasure. IBM had excellent documentation and it followed the Think products to Lenovo.
If anyone bought one can you tell how the 4 RAM slots are populated. Or maybe the other M82 with smaller HDD and less RAM, Item#: N82E16883998062 ($135).
Trying to get answers from Newegg is next to impossible.
Thanks.
