You don't have to be a sprint customer. You can be on any carrier.

I got my wife's 2 and a half year old s8 plus repaired at the Sprint store in November I think when they ran this previously. Phone needs to be in completely working order other than the screen. They make a test call before you need to leave a sim in it *(you can take the SIM out as soon as they make the test call). Only really needed the glass replaced but the.....
Same day they replaced the
Screen (her old screen had blue burn in from Facebook being constantly open)
Battery - I did not know this until I came home and she said battery was like new. Downloaded Accubattery and let it run a few days defiantly a new battery.
Frame - they didn't have silver and asked me to choose black or purple or go to another store.
It is the best deal for 49$ your phone will be brand new. Afterwords I looked it up you can't safely replace the screen on a s8 device without replacing the battery as it will get bent so they replace it either way. Otherwise it is a safety hazard and Sprint might get sued.
Looked OEM to me....
However she cracked the screen in a corner a couple of days later and i just bought a new rugged case for her it was in a
UAG Samsung Galaxy S8+ [6.2-inch screen] Plasma Feather-Light Rugged Military Drop Tested Phone Case
She had just originally broken the screen after 2 ish years of use so weird she broke it right after it was fixed. I might have been the case putting too much pressure in the corner it is a hard plastic case. I don't know if it is OEM.
Don't drop it after it is repaired. I think it is well worth it. Makes me think highly of Sprint in general.
Call ahead to the store and ask them weather they have the parts for your phone and if they can do it same day or what. They wouldn't give me an apportionment I just came by after I called them.
