Can anyone provide insight if this is good for dashcam? I understand that you need to have a good card that has good "endurance" for the constant writing onto the card. Thanks!

It's a dash cam, so just when driving. 10 min to work, 10 min back per day. 14 days a month. Plus short 20 min groceries and errands etc.Every few months will drive 12.hours to parents house to visit, then 12 hours back.
i've been using a amazon basics sd card for like 3 years now. around 4-5 hour a week. it should be fine. you kaye have issues writing to it when it's about to die.

The thing is, I don't check my cam sd card ever. I don't want to have to pull it out every few months to confirm it's working. Just that one time an accident happens, would like that piece of mind knowing that it will have recorded. I would rather pay an extra $30 if I have to for that piece of mind

you wont need to pull the card out to check it. usually, the dash cam wont even record anything when you turn it on and you know its not working.
i have like a dozen sd cards so i can swap out anytime i need. but not everyone has a collection of sd cards laying around.
check the reviews for the endurance cards and see if they are better for dash cams.

I would use an endurance card for anything you plan on writing/ reading for long periods of time
