Anyone currently have this? I have a 27gl83a that I bought at retail price and thinking about returning that in favor of this. This monitor hardly has any reviews out though
I don't have it but from my understanding with whatever info I was able to find for it, it does have the LG 27GL850's IPS panel on there. I've been eyeing the LG monitor but have been turned off by it's current price and scarcity. At this price, I figured why not give it a shot. If it does match up with the LG monitor, then this price is def a steal!

If you search reddit monitors, there are a bunch of user reviews on it. It has the same panel as the LG 27GL850 but overclocks to 165Hz. The build quality is also supposedly better because the stand is metal. However, the OSD controls are better on the LG. Overall, the owner reviews favor the Lenovo since some have owned both. I ordered it and will receive it Monday. If you're a student or in the military, you get a bigger discount.
This is a great deal and Lenovo warranty service is miles ahead of LG.
The hz is how fast the monitor can handle. It's an upper limit. Movies are usually set at around 24 hz, so it shouldn't affect the quality. There are some "Overdrive" settings for fast hz monitors, and those settings, depending on how you set them, could cause ghosting or overshoot.

This monitor is the same panel as the LG 27GL850 which is flicker-free and does not use PWM.
Not sure if serious.
