Delsey is durable product, it has patented zip system which cannot be opened by pen, all other brands including samsonite can be opened and then closed. Also this has a TSA lock and above all it is in good price range for set of 3.

I feel like this should be max $199 in order to be a slick deal. I'm basing this on what I've seen past three piece slick deals of similar samsonite models go for as low as $169.99

These are made of Hard ABS compared to durable Polycarbonate. I would rather go with PC made Samsonite luggage for $20 more: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013WFOBYA

I know the samsonite is no deal but definitely worth it

LOL, they are not light weight. I would rather go with Samsonite PC, lighter and durable with better warranty.

Go with polycarbonate vs abs. Abs is not flexible enough and will crack.

My wife travels extensively from NY to Europe, Middle East and east Asia. Last year, she had a minimum 3 trips a month abroad, back and forth to and from NY.
Our experience between a large Samsonite PC vs Delsey ABS... We'll pick the ABS every time. I did all the research and picked the PC one first. After a few months the corners gave way and started disintegrating. It's currently in the guest room with duck tape all over the corners holding old baby clothes. I was horrified. Just our experience.
Picking up a set for my parents.

I don't know who are paid shills here but it's universally known Polycarbonate is far superior (and thus more expensive) than cheap ABS plastic made suitcase.

Samsonite is the best for PC (polycarbonate) suitcases.

If you want cheap ABS suitcases they can be had for 60 to 70 bucks on ebay for a 3-piece.

Had issues with wheels on 2 different types of delsey hardside. Switched to soft side travelpro crew & use zippered luggage covers. They still look brand new lol and wheels still work great after at least 50 RTs

My Delsey ABS suitcase is holding up well after several trips. That being said I paid $40 from a WOOT sale and wouldn't pay a dime more.

Hey man, I'm just sharing my experience. I've been using SD for a while but I don't really post much. We just travel a lot and my extended family and I buy lots of suitcases. I thought I'd share my feedback which is honest and true for me. But feel free to do what I did..... Read articles, believe one thing, actually try it out and then change your mind. Or not. The f*** if I care.

My delsey card case has been the best suitcase I've ever owned. Someone mentioned they had wheel problems but my wheels are super smooth. Maybe it depends on which ones you get? I think a lot of people just get into their camps and decide what is better when in reality everything has trade offs and a lot of luggage experience probably has to do with luck and how hard airport staff are on them.
