SD gurus, I need computer experts to help me on this Ram optimization.
I have this OP's ram (G.Skill Ripjaws V 3600 C16) 32GB (16 x 2) on below spec:
-AMD 3900X with included Wreath cooler
-Asus X570 Prime- P
-AMD Vega 64 8G
-NVMe M.2. 1T SSD stick
I know the timing for this ram is 16-19-19-39, but I think it has been running 3200.
How can I make adjustments, so that it runs at or close the advertised speed of 3600? I believe I need to tweak the voltage? on BIOS... If anyone can explain the steps I need to take in detail, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try enabling the xmp setting 1? Google how to enable xmp on asus x570.

I think it is under advanced settings.
Thanks for the tip! I believe I did try to enable the xmp setting ( I remember now. I did DOCP setting). And it seems to recognize the exact model of my ram and timing. I remember seeing the same timing on the BIOS when I changed something.... How do I know how fast my ram is running at? I only know it's running at 3200 because it shows 3200 on BIOS. Hope I'm looking at the right number tho! I will definitely google "How to enable xmp..."

If your XMP(DOCP for AMD) is setting your speed to 3200mhz then that's the model you got. The CAS Latency can be 16 on 3200 kits as well as 3600 kits. Make sure you have the parts you think you do.

I believe they are just higher binned c-die. Don't think you would be able to get much more performance from these but you never know.
