First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing
The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

I'm seeing the surgeon on Wednesday. He told me last Wednesday that the skin had a 50/50% chance of dying or living. It would either heal itself or form a black scab like thing that they would have to cut out in order for the skin under it to heal. It seems to be forming the hard black scab thing. The greyish skin you see...it's really thin and if I had the stomach for it..I could peel it off. It's probably black under it. The red around it hurts...I'm not sure what that is. When I run my hands across my stomach....even without looking I can feel when I get to the bite because it's a raised hard mass. The part you see...the black/grey part...doesn't hurt actually, even though it looks like it should. Probably because it's dead.
The part that I don't get is the systemic response...I still have a lowgrade fever and throw up and feel dizzy. I'm not so itchy anymore though and I'm REALLY grateful for that. Plus I get great pleasure by grossing Patrick out with it, lol.
So I'll know more this Wednesday, unless I go in sooner. I know they're probably going to cut the thing out. When I asked "Does this mean you'll be cutting out a deep hole?" and he said yeah. It's funny..I'd almost rather just live with a weird black spot cause that doesn't really hurt..it'll be worse when they cut it off I imagine, lol...but then it'll heal. It'll leave a scar but it's, thank God, not anyplace people really see. I can't imagine if this was on my face or chest or legs or whatever.

Oooh, that's beautiful! I wonder if any of those netting/canopy things would work. We have a canopy bed but recently removed the netting because it trapped cat hair and made allergies worse.
