First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing
The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Since then, Rhys has thrown up too.
They can't see me until 11:30, though. Trying to decide if it makes sense to go in to work for an hour to turn around and come home. I can't get a hold of Chris to see if he can take her.
He's doing good with the pee, but refuses to poop in the potty. I realize it's early in the process but I am having issues with gagging.
I had a decent shopping trip, which I will post on the blog later, but just a heads up...it's totally a YMMV, but my Walgreens had KY touch massage 2-in-1 warming and tingling on clearance for $3.19 for 6.7oz. I had 3 $3 any KY product coupons, and got them for .19 each!!! If you have any coupons, it might be worth checking out!
On another note...the kids have 1 more day of school after today, so I expect this headache to continue through.....well....the next 9 weeks.
