With Discount Tire, you, of course have to buy "certificates" for tire to be replaced at no cost to you. I used to do that but not any more.

This is the updated model of the Scorpion Verde A/S Plus which gets great reviews on TireRack and on Consumer Reports.

Personally, I never mess with alignment unless there are obvious signs that vehicle needs alignment.

All things considered, manufacturer road hazard certificates are a lot better than a retailer-specific one.
$130 off Michelins almost makes them competitive with all the other major brands.
Wish I was kidding, but Michelin really is the Bose of tires — they act like they're better than they are when you can do just as well for 30% less (or even half the price if you're willing to look at Sumitomo, Kumho, etc)

My Premier A/S tires only have 30k on them and only have about another 5k left before they get down to minimum tread depth of 2/32. This is a tire with a supposed 60k mileage warranty. If you check the Michelin website alot of other reviewers complain about premature tire wear.
Thats the last time I'm springing for $200 Michelins when you can get comparable Conti's and Pirellis for $150-$175
