You have to be careful which 4k tv's to get, as some have staggered pixel structure, or an rgbw panel instead of rgb, or bgr which means the pixels are in reverse order. All of these will make the text look like crap. So make sure the pixels are a regular RGB structure, Rtings.com will tell you this. Also, most tv's are VA...which isn't always a bad thing since they tend to have better contrast, but ips has better viewing angles and color accuracy. When you sit close to your monitor this matters as the colors at the edges can shift with VA and TN monitors...and the bigger you get the worse this will be if you are sitting at the same distance. If I were to suggest a 43" TV, the LGUM7300 is currently $300. It has an IPS panel, and an RGB pixel structure. The only downfall for that TV vs this monitor is that the TV doesn't have a display port and HDMI can only pass a signal at 4k 60hz at 4:4:4 RGB 8-bit. DVI can do 4k 60hz at 4:4:4 RGB up to 12-bit. Lower bit depth means that not all colors can be displayed, so when there is something that is a gradient being displayed banding can happen. All said and done, I still traded in my 4k 28" samsung monitor and upgraded to a 43" TV. Scaling app's on Windows 10 doesn't always work right, and at 28" 100% scaling is just too small...also splitting a 28" monitor into 4 separate windows made the windows too small to be useful for multitasking. So....get the 43"....just my 2 cents.
