    Patch 1.0.4 was released about 1-2 weeks ago for Switch. Apparently the game now runs similarly to its PS4 and XBONE counterparts.

    Looking through some reddit posts about the patch also reveals that the game's performance on Switch has been improved. Obviously the visuals on the Switch compared to the other current-gen consoles are still inferior.

    This is a good game. PS4 is still probably my preferred platform (I'm as bit of a trophy junky).

    I grabbed it late last year when Gamestop was running it for $17.99 as part of a deal of the day. Played exclusively in handheld and overall experience was fine. Couple minor lag areas and one crash, but nothing game breaking. Overall I enjoyed it, but it's no SotN. I would recommend at this price if you like metroidvanias but I wouldn't go higher than $20.

    Also worth noting it's on Game Pass for both Xbox and PC right now

    I bought this game for the 17.99 price also. Like other user said, the patches fixed most bugs. Graphics aren't as great as the Xbox and PlayStation versions but I enjoyed playing it handheld. Good game as far as metroidvanias go. The gameplay isn't as tight as others like hollow knight or maybe platformers like Celeste, but it's a fun game that doesn't require much grinding at all (in my run through of the game). Just make sure to save every opportunity you get especially before "bookshelves" and "portrait rooms". It glitched 3 times in my play through which wasted about 5 minutes of time each, but I'm told this happened on the other consoles also. Hope this was helpful!

    Great deal for those looking to own for their switch.

    Just a PSA if you have game pass (xbox/pc) it's an included game on there if you are a multiple system household. I've officially bought 2 games I already had access to that way because I forgot to check.
